I am a digital politics reporter for NBC News, covering breaking news.
I also covered general breaking news and the 2024 Summer Olympics for NBC.
I grew up in Bogotá, Colombia, and Miami, FL. I graduated from Harvard University in 2024, where I majored in History & Literature with a minor in Government — although I feel like I actually majored in my college newspaper, The Harvard Crimson.
I had the honor of being The Crimson’s first Hispanic president, helming the paper’s historic shift into the digital age while moving print publication to a weekly, redesigned broadsheet and a monthly magazine. I oversaw the paper’s 300+ person staff and directed the organization’s entirely independent and student-run editorial, financial, and cultural strategy. Prior to that, I was a news reporter covering Police Accountability and the Harvard Kennedy School, and co-hosted a podcast scrutinizing the legacy of slavery and discrimination at Harvard.
In college, I interned for my local NPR station, WLRN South Florida, and for NBC News’ social media team.
I am based in Washington D.C., where I live with my adorable cat, Lola (a rescue found in a newsroom building’s parking lot!).
